Purchased this app and sound does not work, making it useless and a waste of money

The app contains information that can be used as a quick reference for content that is available on YouTube for free.

I read the reviews and saw some people were having issues with the sounds, I figured since those were dated from a while back those issues had been resolved. After downloading the app I attempted to use the listen portion of the app, the video played but with no sounds. As many others had stated the app is useless with out the sound. I do not recommend purchasing this app.

App would be great but its called "baby ears" with no sound? The whole point is to hear actual infants making these sounds so the patent can recognize them. I want my money back. Ridiculous!

Strange that the two are connected, but make sure your ringer isnt on silent. Mine was and the sound wouldnt play on the video. Once I turned my ringer on, the sound worked.

Cant hear a thing... so why have it??

Its a very nice theory, but, the sound doesnt work... Im using IOs 6.

After waiting for months for this app Im not sure what I was waiting for. I guess I hoped that a quick to grab replay would help me understand my 2 month old, but it hasnt. Ive found the example crys hard to distinguish and slow to load. I still love the idea, but the app did nothing other than lighten my wallet a bit. 3 stars for a nice design.

SO helpful! Where was this app for my first baby..? super easy to use, quick access to the videos with this app anywhere, even in the middle of the night…. we understood her cries, which works…the Practice section is very handy,.. my baby & I THANK YOU.

The app is very simple to use. I think the crying videos are clear and useful and I could hear my 10 wk old son making the sounds for hungry and burp straight away. The practice section is fun and helped me get the other sounds right. Its amazing that I can calm my crying baby with this app! VERY useful. Thanks!

This app is not working properly. There is no sound. At first I thought it was my iPad so I reboot my iPad. I logged on to this app again and still no sound, so I went to my music and it worked, so its definitely the app, can someone please fix it! $5.99 is a lot for an app that doesnt work!

This app is a must have for new parents (not to mention grandparents and siblings). This simple to use app actually teaches you what to listen for in your babys cries and how to settle them creating a calmer baby and a calmer household too. Havent had any SOUND issues (perhaps uses had their volumes switched to mute on their iPhone or iPads) and the easy to learn videos and test really do help you tune your ears to your babys needs. Youll soon hear these cries with others babies too. If you are a new Mom or Dad (or a second or third time one) this app is a must have.

Sound issue posted by other reviewers should be a misconfiguration on ipad, mine was not working at first place, but after changing a configuration sound is working great.

Just wasted 8 bucks on a app that has no sound which is the part I desperately need! Ive double tapped the home page and checked the sound. Rebooted my phone. Deleted and down loaded the app three times. All my other apps work just fine.
